did you recognise the fear of those who either lost someone in the 9/11...was it a religous attack or a commercial attack???

I am not making light of dead people... But if you know tha Jehovah created life he can do anything in this world. When you realise that Jehovah is Almighty God, then you will not have a problem. I dont run Satan and I will not certainly run Jehovah down,

I bought a birthday present today
by merfi inmy middle kid turns 10 this wednesday.
it will be the first b-day present i've ever bought her.... (gawd, now i'm tearing up)
what i'm needing is a little help easing into actually giving it to her as she's known for the previous 9 years, 364 days that celebrating birthdays are bad, bad bad.

SO why cant you give her a present everyday of her life. Why wait until the day she was born????
Why not give it to her now???
what rubbish are you trying to create when you know John the Baptists head's was placed on platter, yes Jonh the Baptist, Jesus' cousin.!!! That's why birthdays should not be celebrated. If you want to celebrate your child's birthday, do so, but you will be doing it on you own. Jehovah's will is much stronger than yours.

No i am not one of Jehovahs Witnesses. But i was raised as such from the age of 6-13 years old. My mum is one of Jehovah's Witnesses.I do believe in priciples and the prophecies that were foretold in the Bible.Although I am of age to make my own stand, whether for Jehovah or Satan, I would rather stand for Jehovah.. Satan is a liar, remember he told Eve that she will not grow old and die??? What are we as humans doing now?? Going old and dying!!! Jehovah told Adam and Eve that if they ate the friut they would surely grow old and die.
What did Satan say?? he said "YOU WILL NOT DIE.WHAT ARE WE DOING NOW.... JUST AS JEHOVAH SAID;;; WE ARE GROWING OLD AND WE ARE DYING
Who lied to mankind... Jehovah or Satan??"?

Did the elders ever blackmail you with dead loved ones?
by Fleshybirdfodder inthis is kind of a sensitive subject for me, but i had to get it off my chest.
when i was eighteen my father died suddenly of a heart attack, and i started drifting from depression.
i wasn't doing anything wrong, i was just in shock and started really questioning my beliefs.

I am certain ttat Nana means, she would like for you to stop chasing Satan's world and because you lost your Dad, I honestly think Nana is looking to the new System, and because you are caught up in this system(Satan's System) you are not willing to do the truth. But Nan is trying her best to keep you focused on the new system, and you are right, Nan is using the GUILT TRIP, because Nana wants you to get through this ugly System, and be there when Dad comes into the new system. Who is gonna be in the new system to meet Dad when he is resurrected. It wont be Nana?? Might leave the rest for you to think it over.

Hi there, I am so sorry for your losses. I know death is a hard issue to deal with, and when others say the wrong thing say at the wrong time, that doesnt help very much. I can empathise with you. But I dont think the Elders meanst any harm for you or neither did they intend on minimising the fact that you have lost someone dear and true to you, I am certain they meant to encourage you in knowing in the fact that Jehovah has the power to restore life. After all, he created life, and he can take it away.

Yes this issue came up when The Twins Towers went down. Did you recognise the fear of those who either lost someone in the 9/11...Was it a religous attack or a commercial attack??? Whatever attack it was, the Bible foretold the prophecy.
Are you araid to die?? Are we going to live in fear for the rest of our lives? Is this Jehovah's plan??
Why fear men when Jehovah can restore the heavens and the earth to its original state. So should we fear men???

When you left JW, how did you help transition your kids?
by merfi inmy situation: i da'd this past march.
the ex is still jw, in a city nice and far away so isn't able to give me any local grief.
i have three kiddos, 8, 10 and 12. the 8yo (boy) could really give a crap, i think.

I honestly think it's not the kids who are finding it hard with the transistion. By what I have read, it sounds like the parents have personal issues that they are putting onto their children. Yes, it is hard to let someone or something that we love behind, but don't put it onto your kids. If you truly love Jehovah and put all your fears, worries and your marital problems onto Jehovah and if you practise what the Bible says regarding marriage, everything should fall into place,,BUT if you are bringing a child/ren up on your own, just know that Jehovah provides. The end is just arpund the corner. Please, brothers and sisters, hold on to Jehovah. He will make a paradise for you and your kids.. Hold on

How did my chidlren cope with the transistion??? They didnt cope very well, they accepted the fact that 'Mummy's not with us because she doesnt love Jehovah anymore' but I think they accepted it very well, especially for children of 1,4,6and 7 years of age. At that age, I felt that they were too young to know what was really going on, BUT they knew what they wanted,,"Mum and Dad. to be together.Thats how kids feel when Mum and Dad are not together. Its a devastating issue for children and more so, when kids don't understand what's happening with Mum and Dad.
